Next Steps

Take Your Next Step

We are committed to helping you take the next step in your journey. How can we help?

I want to surrender my life to Jesus

I want to surrender my life to Jesus

Surrendering your life to Jesus is the most important decision you will ever make.

I want to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism

I want to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism

Baptism (also called believer’s baptism) is an outward expression of an inward transformation. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ. A person comes to faith by believing the gospel. Baptism is the “first step” of obedience a new believer will take once that person has surrendered his or her life to Jesus. The New Testament shows that a person is first “saved” and then, and only then, that person is baptized. Thus, baptism is a picture of what takes place at the time of salvation – being cleansed and having your sins washed away– but it does not save you. You are saved already, and baptism is a step of obedience. Baptism symbolizes, “I have died to my old life (going under the water) and I am alive to new life in Christ (coming out of the water). It signifies a believer’s life has been put to death and raised to walk in new life. In other words, baptism is simply a public testimony to the world and to the church signifying your new commitment to follow Christ.

I want to join the church

I want to join the church

God calls all Christians to live out their faith and be on mission in and through a gospel-centered local church. Church membership is a solemn commitment church members make to one another to worship, live out the gospel, and work together to expand God’s kingdom in our city, nation, and world. Therefore, we believe church membership is very important and should be meaningful to each member. Our membership covenant is called “Life Together at Springdale.” The membership covenant contains commitments our members have made to one another as we seek to glorify God and live out the gospel together. To help you join in the life and ministry of the church, we ask all new members to participate in a four-step process, which includes attending a free lunch called First Connection, participating in two membership classes, and having coffee with one of our pastors so they can get to know you better.

I want to sign up for First Connection

I want to sign up for First Connection

First Connection is a free, informal lunch immediately following the worship service where we get to know you and you get to know us. You will meet some of our members, staff, elders, and our lead pastor. We’ll share a 30-thousand-foot view of what God is doing in and through the church and how you can be a part of it. First Connection is a causal environment and a great place to ask questions. We provide lunch for the whole family, so yes, bring the kids!

Contact us to see when the next First Connection is scheduled.

I want to join a LifeGroup

I want to join a LifeGroup

LifeGroups exist to support our vision to be a disciple-making church where every member is challenged, encouraged, and equipped to live all of life as worship, in community, and on mission. While every group takes on the personalities of its members, one thing remains the same: Each group will study the Bible, pray for one another, encourage you in your walk with Christ, build community, and equip you to be on mission.

We want you to join the LifeGroup that’s best for you—that is the group that helps you best grow in your love for God, His church, and His mission. We believe that goal is best accomplished by organizing groups according to “life seasons.” Our pastoral team and ministry staff can help you find the group that is right for you.

We are a church that is active. Our members participate in the mission in meaningful ways. We would love to help you connect to a ministry team once you become a member.
